Hi All: We made it to Fairbanks with no problems except it rained most of the night and is still raining off and on now at 8:30 PM local time. Above it a photo of a pretty flower, standing under a bowl of flowers.. hee hee.

We got our site here and have cable TV, and free wifi. However, there are so many RV's on the wifi now that it it takes forever just to log on the site. I'm on my Verizon Thingy now, and it is kinda slow also. Could only get one photo downloaded.

We drove in to town this afternoon and went to SAM'S here and then to the grocery store. A Safeway store. I also went to Office Max and bought a program that I can download music to CD's. Have had trouble downloading using Microsoft windows. Bought a ROXIO program. I had this program at home and tried to download it on the laptops and it froze the laptops up. Would not work with the new Windows 7 these units use. The new ROXIO program loaded just fine,and I made 5 new CD's with 25 songs per CD that I had downloaded from JoAnn. It worked just great...

I went and checked out the river here. It's the Chena River that runs thru the campground. A couple guys were fishing there and had no luck. I guess they don't know that fish don't bite in the rain??? It is still raining here.

Harry.... Would never try to run bikers off the road. I do feel fear for them riding on these roads here with some of the RV's I've seen on the road. Regular car drivers as far as that goes. The bikers here have about 150 pounds of gear strapped on their bikes also. It's a tough way to travel, but every one for his own thing. Harry got on me for not treating bikers properly folks..I don't do that.... I don't break for animals though....

Not sure what is up for tomorrow. We do plan a trip on a river boat one day, and a trip to a Gold Mine another day to pan for gold. Went there with Bob and Dorene last time up and enjoyed the trip, so we'll do it again.. Take a train to the gold mine and then they give us some dirt we use to get some gold out of. If we don't get any gold out of the fist pouch of dirt, they will give you another. Amy and I both got some gold last time, and Amy paid twice the amount of gold we had for a necklace to put the panned gold in. ??? Guess she'll have two of them after this trip.

Well, better get on with the evening.

PS. Sweet Pea... You should go fishing again. They say each day you go fishing is a free day and does not count on how many days you have left on this earth. Go fishing as often as you can.. Don't have to catch anything, just FISH...
